The Audubon Advanced Fabrication Laboratory is an adaptive reuse project proposed for the historic 1925 sugar factory on LSU’s campus. This project investigates how architecture can engage with hands-on learning and fabrication in education. The design is rooted in time and process, exposing the grid system of the original structure and creating additions that expand upon its logic to suggest continuity and evolution.
